about: dancing in a turning world

My passion for the written word most likely had its genesis in Dad's choice of literature for bedtime reading for my sister and I, including e.e. cummings, T.S. Eliot, the Mahabarata, Gerard Manley Hopkins and Shakespeare. Since 2009 I was a regular contributor to Behind Ballet, The Australian Ballet’s blog, which led to more writing work including with Dance Tabs, Vogue Australia, Dance International and Gourmet Traveller.

Through Dancing in a Turning World, I want to share with you my journey into understanding dance, art, life, and their confluence in this turning (ever-changing, wondrous, beautiful, maddening, decaying...) world.
